The San Diego Conference focuses on multidisciplinary best-practice efforts to prevent, if possible, or otherwise to investigate, treat and prosecute child and family maltreatment. The purpose of the San Diego Child and Maltreatment Conference is to create an opportunity for collaboration and multidisciplinary interactions across the workforce to develop and enhance their professional skills and knowledge in the prevention, recognition, assessment, investigation, and treatment of all forms of child and family maltreatment using best practices.
