C16 ISPCAN CHILD ABUSE SCREENING TOOL (ICAST): DEVELOPMENT AND FIELD TESTING OF THE ARABIC VERSION

 

Graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University on 1984 then pursue post graduate studies in Public Health, Preventive and Social Medicine, Dr. Youssef received her PhD in Public Health, Preventive and Social Medicine on 1994 from the University of Alexandria in 1994. She is currently a professor of Community Medicine. She has written more than 25 publications in indexed medical journal and 15 presentations in national and international conferences.

 

Dr. Youssef participated in five research projects and was the principal investigator in two of them. Her main research interest is the social and community factors that affect family health and quality of life. She is a member in a number of relevant societies including the International Epidemiologic Association, International Society for Child Abuse and Neglect and founding member of the Egyptian Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and neglect.
