Paul Stern is a senior deputy prosecuting attorney for Snohomish County, Washington.  He has been involved in the prosecution of  child sexual and physical abuse cases since 1985.  He has tried more than 150 felony jury cases, predominately involving child abuse, sexual assault or homicide. Mr. Stern served on the Board of Directors for the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. He was on the founding Board of Directors for Big Brother/Big Sister programs in Snohomish County, Washington, and in Vineland, New Jersey. He has written more than a dozen articles and manuals regarding aspects of the prosecution of sexual assault cases. His book, Preparing and Presenting Expert Testimony in Child Abuse Litigation, was published by Sage in January, 1997.
