N6 CREATING A COMMUNITY TO SERVE A COMMUNITY: HOW 6 AGENCIES ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO REDESIGN SERVICES FOR HOMELESS YOUTH IN HOLLYWOOD

 

Arlene Schneir, MPH, is the Director of the Community Trauma Treatment Center for Runaway and Homeless Youth at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. The CTTCRHY is a collaboration with 5 other runaway and homeless youth service agencies that are working to transform trauma treatment in the Hollywood area. Ms Schneir has over 20 years of experience developing programs and services to address the health needs of vulnerable adolescents, with a special focus on runaway and homeless youth, pregnant teens and teen parents, youth at risk and infected with HIV, and transgender youth. She has extensive experience working to promote system change through multi-agency collaborative planning and decision-making.
