Susan Samuel has been in the child abuse field for more than 25 years. Her longest tenure was with the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children where she conducted more than 2000 investigations of allegations of child maltreatment. She also worked for the Kentucky Attorney General assisting prosecutors in establishing community child abuse investigation and review teams.  Her most recent employment was with the (Kentucky) Children’s Review Program conducting quality reviews on child protection investigations. Currently, she is a trainer and a consultant and is a member of APSAC’s Board of Directors.
