Dr. Ron Prinz is a psychology professor at the University of South Carolina where he also directs the campus-wide Research Consortium on Children and Families. His research bridging three decades focuses on prevention and treatment of child and family problems, including prevention of ineffective or coercive parenting practices. He is currently funded by CDC and the National Institutes of Health to conduct parenting and family intervention studies. Dr. Prinz is married to Dr. Susan Prinz, and they have a daughter attending Boston University.
