Vicky Marchand, a native of Washington, DC, is married and the mother of three terrific boys. After contributing to the early development of the Pathways Mapping Initiative, Vicky rejoined the project as Senior Associate in 2003. She managed the development of the Pathway to the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and leads PMI’s "Community Connections" activities to facilitate use of Pathways and to learn from the experience of users to improve the Pathways. Vicky was selected as a 2005 Fellow in the Zero To Three Leadership Development Initiative.
Prior to PMI, Vicky worked for the Administration of Children and Families in the Boston and Chicago Regional Offices and at the Head Start Bureau in Washington, DC. At the Head Start Bureau, Vicky worked on program management and operations, coordinated the revisions of the Program Information Report and had lead responsibility for the Head Start State Collaboration Office Network. In Boston, Vicky worked for the Center for Perinatal and Family Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to improve case management and promote linkages between Community Health Centers and the hospital.
