B14 A GUIDE FOR CASE REVIEW IN CACS: MANAGING A COMPLEX EXPERIENCE FOR SUCCESS

 

Dr. M. Christine Kenty (Quad2) has consulted within the children's advocacy center movement on a local, regional and national level since 1989. Her manual, A Guide for Case Reviews in CACs, is now available on the NCA website. She is currently evaluating NRCAC's Leadership Exchange and Coaching Project, and (with Weiss Associates) she conducted the National Children's Alliance 2004 strategic planning process using an Appreciative Inquiry approach to individual interviews and regional focus groups. She has provided training and evaluation for NRCAC on multidisciplinary case review, protocol development, strategic planning, teaming and program evaluation. She consults with CACs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Maryland.

 

Dr. Kenty is Director of Research and Evaluation for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia, where she is developing outcome measures for the National Children's Law Network. She has recently completed a five-year qualitative research project with pediatric residents at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is an evalution consultant to the American Bar Association's Center for Children and the Law project on videotaping forensic interviews.
