Dr. Hewitt is a child psychologist in private practice in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  She has a PhD from the University of Minnesota, and much of her work has been focused on assessment of child abuse with pre-school children.  She is the author of Assessing Allegations of Sexual Abuse in Preschool Children: Understanding Small Voices, and has talked both nationally and internationally regarding the needs of very young children with sexual abuse issues.  Dr. Hewitt also works with reunification after unsubstantiated allegations, attachment concerns, and custody / access cases involving young children.
