Mary C. Harris, LCSW, is the Director of Child Welfare Services for the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, Ms. Harris has worked in the child welfare field in Connecticut and California. Her assignments have included management of Orangewood Children’s Home, development of placement services for medically fragile children, adoption services and liaison work with Children’s Mental Health and First Five Commissions. Ms. Harris directed the development of Wraparound in Orange County, and strongly supports the delivery of services through partnerships with families, youth and multidisciplinary professionals.
