Dr. Pamela Harmell is an outstanding and well-known lecturer who has spoken throughout the United States.  Dr. Harmell is a Lecturer at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology teaching courses in the areas of professional ethics and the law, psychopathology and practicum since 1990.  She has written extensively in professional publications on ethical and legal issues for mental health professionals and has completed one year of law school.  She served as the Chair of the California Psychological Association Ethics Committee from 2004 to 2006 and continues as a current member.  She serves as a member of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association Ethics Committee. Dr. Harmell was a member of the California Board of Psychology for five years and served as President for her last year in 2003. She is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Los Angeles.
