B9 THE EVER-EVOLVING INDIAN CHILD WELFARE ACT: NEW DEVELOPMENTS AROUND THE NATION
Ann Gilmour is an attorney with extensive experience in Indian Law. She began her legal career in British Columbia for a firm working exclusively in the area of aboriginal and treaty rights and title. Upon moving to California she continued her work in Indian Law as a contract attorney and then as a staff attorney with California Indian Legal Services. She now works with the Administrative Office of the Courts, Center for Families, Children and the Courts on the Indian Child Welfare Act Initiative providing training and technical assistance on ICWA compliance.
