L2 b ENHANCING THE IMPLEMENTATION SYSTEM TO STRENGTHEN THE IMPACT OF HOME VISITING IN PREVENTION OF HARSH PARENTING

Dr. Anne Duggan is Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins University.  She is an early childhood researcher, educator and advocate focused on promoting child development through improved accessibility, quality and integration of health, family support and early care and education services.  Her experimental research on services for at-risk families with young children has influenced the development of primary care and home visitation strategies to prevent child maltreatment and promote child health and development locally and nationally.  Her goal is to develop, test, and take to scale an integrated service model that reflects ‘Great Expectations’ for all children and eliminates developmental disparities so that all children are set on a successful life trajectory.
