Doug Braun-Harvey received his master's degree in counseling from National University in 1982. He has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1982 and a Certified Group Psychotherapist since 1994. He Founded The Sexual Dependency Institute of San Diego in 1993 where he provides outpatient treatment for men with out of control sexual behavior. Mr. Braun-Harvey presents locally, nationally and internationally on issues of sexuality, sexual dependency, sexual orientation and group psychotherapy.  He is lecturing faculty at San Diego State University Masters of Counseling Program.  From 2001 - 2005 consulted with Stepping Stone of San Diego to create, design and implement the nations first sexual behavior relapse prevention program to improve chemical dependency treatment client retention rates and treatment outcomes.  He has published his clinical approaches with sexual dependency in several journals.  Currently Mr. Braun-Harvey is in private practice in Mission Valley and on the web at www.sexualdependency.com
