Joseph Benamati has spent more than 30 years in the field of human services, specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, children's mental health issues, parenting and substance abuse. He has been with Parsons for the last 21 years as treatment coordinator, social work supervisor, clinical director, Residential Treatment Facility director and, most recently, director of Parsons Child Trauma Study Center and senior administrator of Mental Health Residential Services.
Mr. Benamati received a bachelor of arts degree from St. Michael's College and a master's degree in social work from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University where he is specializing in management of children and youth programs.
