Internet Crimes Against Children

Abstract:

This course will discuss the problem of child exploitation on the internet and the various resources available to combat it.  Participants will learn about the unique features of child pornography cases and defendants.  The course will include a discussion of some of the common defenses that prosecutors see in court.  Finally, participants will learn some tips for online safety and get information about online resources available to them.
