Abstract: 

In this workshop, the details of actual cases will be presented and discussed to gain insight into the accuracy of many of our common assumptions about the nature of the sexual victimization of children.  Issues discussed will include child abduction, Amber alerts, compliant child victims, Internet "predators", juvenile sex offenders, victim impact statements, and prevention strategies.
