This workshop will focus on research from NSCAW and its application for child welfare practice.

Abstract:

The workshop will apply the findings from the National Survey of Child and Adolescent Well-being to practice issues faced by practitioners involved with child welfare services. Particular issues of attention will include parent training, domestic violence services, screening for mental health issues, substance abuse practice, and permanency planning.
