Abstract: 

Even as a leader, it is difficult to advance agendas without the support of others. A leader creates a vision, but then must inspire or locate others with a like vision. Networking, collaborating and working in an incremental manner are core to success.  There is no magic - just hard work and perseverance.  Being in a position of leadership opens doors, but that is simply the first step.
