Description for proposed workshop: Compassion Fatigue is not just a nice idea, it is an essential component of prevnetion and of proactive action to keep those who work with trauma healthy and productive. This session includes definitions & indicators of burnout, compassion fatigue and secondary trauma as well as mulitple strategies on both individual and organizational levels for prevention.
