Description:

A discussion of the pros and cons of various techniques for photo documentation of retinal hemorrhages

Abstract:

Photo documentation is only possible in some children with retinal hemorrhages. Challenges include patient movement, pupil dilation, availability and cost.  Each available camera also has its own pros and cons.  This workshop will review and make recommendations regarding the role and interpretation of photo documentation in these children.  The speaker will illustrate findings which may be seen in abusive head injury as revealed through various photographic techniques.
