Abstract:

The purpose of this workshop will be to examine the interrelationship between the forensic interview and a successful prosection, by discussing dynamics specific to child sexual explotation including computer facilitated crimes (child pornography and travel cases), and child prostitution.  Attendees at this workshop will be provided knowledge regarding interviewing victims of child exploitation, compliant victims, presenting evidence during the interview, cold interviews (non-disclosure cases) and recommended forensic interview questions pertaining to specific types of cases discussed.  The issues discussed will be evaluated in light of enhancing prosecution efforts.
