The Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego will accept a limited number of abstracts for presentations at the 2010 San Diego International Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment.

Anticipated Audience: Approximately 2,000 professionals who deal with all forms of trauma to children and families
Due Date: March 3, 2009
Guidelines:
Each lead presenter is requested to make two 90-minute workshop presentations. For each workshop, please provide a new/different abstract.
Prefer in-depth knowledge-building sessions rather than program descriptions or topic overviews. Speakers should assume that most attendees have a working knowledge of child abuse in their field.
Prefer evidence-based or research-based work along with published articles.
Prefer no more than two presenters for each session except for special panels.
Lead presenter for two 90 minute sessions will receive complimentary conference registration, paid travel, hotel room for night before and night of presentation(s) and per diem.
A second presenter, panels, or presentations of less than two 90 minute sessions will receive a special reduced conference registration only.
Sponsored lead presenters: Those, whose travel and hotel expenses are paid by an agency or grant, will receive a complimentary conference registration.
